Have you replaced your toothbrush lately? Well you may want to consider replacing it regularly. On average your toothbrush contains over 700 different types of bacteria.

We recommend changing your brush every 3 to 4 months. Bristles on your brush begin to fray and become worn out which means your brush is not cleaning as effectively . If you have replaced your brush less than 3 to 4 months ago and your bristles are extremely frayed, you may be pushing down too hard.

You should definitely replace your brush if you've been sick with an infection or a virus and avoid storing your brush next to your family member's brush when sick.

Children's brushes may need to be replaced more often since they tend to brush more rigorously.

After using your brush, rinse and tap off access water. Allow your brush to air dry and never store it in a closed container as it will allow bacteria to build up.
